Tori is a true talent!
Ruben Studdard's music is adored by me for years, and I own a few of his albums, but this was my first time seeing him in concert. His musicality and voice have always impressed me, and his live performance left me even more amazed. His awesome voice sends chills through you! He managed to hold a huge crowd's attention for 2 straight hours without any breaks, which must be incredibly difficult. He treated the audience as if he were playing his music in a small night club just for us. Very cool! Be prepared for how mellow Ruben Studdard's music is if you're not already a fan. He tends to "deconstruct" his own songs and slow them down even further. I appreciated this on some songs, but my only criticism is that he seemed to do this on EVERY song, and I wish he had stuck to the original timing of some of his recorded versions. Apart from the slow pace, I thoroughly enjoyed his lyrics, piano skills, and especially the sound of his voice. Just beautiful!
